FAQs

Is there parking?

We have a limited amount of spaces in the hotel car park so we work on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. If we don’t have a space when you arrive there is secure parking just down the road at the Pavilion car park and the Dún Laoghaire LexIcon. There is also street parking at the front of the hotel. Street parking requires a ticket 08:00-19:00, Monday-Saturday.

Can I bring my pet?

Only guide dogs are permitted in the House.

Can I smoke?

There is a strict no-smoking policy in the House but we do have a designated outdoor smoking area at the front of the building.

I forgot my toiletries, do you supply?

Conditioning shampoo, shower cream and body lotion come as standard in all of the rooms. We also keep a supply of toothbrushes and razors at reception too.

What time is check-in/check-out?

3pm is the official check-in time. However, if you arrive early we will always do our best to accommodate you. If we can’t, we can store your luggage until your bedroom is available. You can have a coffee in the lobby while you wait or we’d be happy to recommend places to go within walking distance. Check-out is 12pm.

What happens if I cancel my booking?

There is a free cancellation policy up to two days before the day of arrival. Any cancellation made within 48 hours of check-in time of 3pm on the day of arrival or failure to arrive on the scheduled check-in date will result in a charge for the first nights’ accommodation of the stay under that Booking Confirmation.

Do you have wheelchair access?

We have wheelchair access at the back of the hotel through to the lobby. Guided assistance is required so please call in advance. From the lobby, you can access the restaurant and Library Bar, and the rooms are accessible by lift. Unfortunately, our garden is currently not accessible.
