Emma, our new Director of Sales and Marketing is a fireball of energy. When she is not out negotiating deals with our corporate clients you will find her helping the restaurant team deliver a smooth lunch service across the week. We bribed Emma to sit with us (Lindt chocolate works wonders) to get an insight into Emma the Mother of three and Emma at work

Tell us about growing up in Dun Laoghaire

I loved growing up in this area near to the sea. I am a fair weather swimmer but you often find me running along the seafront and by the coast road to Killiney

What did you study in college?

I studied German and Economics in UCD and after a short stint in Dublin headed to London where I spent 11 years working in Business Development in professional services.

Big smoke or little smoke?

If I wasn’t living here it would be somewhere rural either Ballyvaughan, Co Clare or a village in the Tramuntana mountains in Mallorca.

What do you do at the house?

I have worked across the businesses and like nothing more than being client facing. Talking to our regular customers, whether in the restaurant, or at a corporate event, or just catching up with them while they chill out in our lobby. I love seeing the Haddington House experience delivered from start to finish and watching our brilliant and energetic team in action!

Why would a corporate choose Haddington House?

HH is truly unique both in its location and its offering, with unrivaled views and a team who will make you feel at home and where nothing is too much trouble. You can end your working day with a quick jog down the pier followed by a spin down to the forty foot, on one of our new bikes, for a refreshing swim. But we aren’t resting on our laurels with planned investment for even faster wi-fi and a new gym for our corporate guests who wish to stay within the house.
